Due to snow, all of our open houses other than 2356 NW Hoyt are canceled. I can walk to Hoyt and if you’d like to visit I’d encourage you to either walk or take public transportation.

Tonight’s low temperature is forecast to be 30 degrees. Transitional Youth, founded by Prudential Northwest Properties’ president, Bert Waugh Jr., actively works to reduce Portland’s youth homelessness by providing housing, outreach and support to homeless youth. As temperatures drop the need for warm clothing increases. We’re going to be holding as many of our listings open as possible on December 14th as drop-off locations for coats to be donated to Transitional Youth. We’ll be holding our first public open house for the historic Robert F. Hall House in the Alphabet District (2356 NW Hoyt) on December 14th from 1-4PM and we will develop a complete list in the coming week.

All agents, Prudential NW Properties and otherwise, can advertize their Sunday December 14th open house, IF YOU WILL BE COLLECTING COATS FOR DONATION TO CHARITY, by commenting on this post. Please include (in this format):

  • Your name and firm:
  • Property address:
  • Charity you will donate coats to:
  • Open House timeframe on Sunday Dec. 14th:
  • MLS#:
  • Price:
  • Number of bedrooms:
  • Number of bathroom:

You may include the public remarks from RMLS. No links or phone numbers. They will be removed. Any advertizing or comments beyond the scope of an open house on December 14th will be deleted, edited or removed. We’ve never done this before in this forum but have high hopes that this can be a successful endeavor. We’ll use the comments to post a master list on the morning of December 13th of participants.
