Condo Versus Loft Living

People often ask us about the metits of loft living versus condo living. The first step is to define what the difference is in the units. For our purposes and what is generally agreed upon in the portland market is that a loft has open spaces and no true walled-in bedrooms. Condos have solid walls with doors separating living space from bedroom space.

This is a great oppurunity for audience participation since our living situation doesn’t apply! We live in a plex where the rental income defrays our mortgage expense. It’s a subject for a different post. Any comments on what you like or dislike about your situation and what made you choose one or the other (and would you do it again) would be great.
