It might be a nice weather day in Portland but there is only one way to describe Phoenix: HOT. 112 degrees hot yesterday and supposed to hit 114 today! Hot also describes the real estate in both markets. We visited the sales center yesterday for a proposed condo tower that was going to be 22 stories and has already been approved for 30 floors because of demand. They have applied to make the building 40 floors and expect to be approved. They are currently sold out and the waiting list for the proposed additional ten floors is over three hundred people long!

The John Ross in the South River Blocks in Portland is slated for 31 floors and will be the tallest residential building in Portland.
