Have you received a letter like this in the mail? We received the one below in the mail on Saturday. The info provided on the letter is all available through public records but the Attorney General’s office says it is a scam. The California based company doesn’t do what they say they are going to do and the “service” they supposedly provide for $189 is something that any homeowner can do on their own for free. Anybody that feels they may have been scammed should contact the AG by calling the Justice Consumer Hotline at 1-877-877-9392 or link to the attorney general’s office or to its scam alert web page.
