There are just thee weeks until the 2010 Portland Street of Dreams kicks off with A Midsummer Night’s Dream Charity Benefit at Cresap Summit on Friday, July 29th. I’d like to thank Renaissance Homes for giving me access to their home for the next few Fridays so that Ican complete the series I have been writing since January with a better vantage than from the curb.
The site was full activity and progress is evident since my last visit June 27th. The show will feature six properties. There are the three homes on NW Cresap Lane, a detached condominium in neighboring Macleay Overlook and an Ideabox Prefab Home (blog).
Renaissance Homes’ Street of Dreams house is presold and is getting very near completion. Workers were touching up sheet rock and paint when I was there this morning. As a Realtor you never know what you are going to find behind the front door and this time I was not disappointed. The main floor is a great entertaining space with the kitchen and family room at the back of the house. A butler’s pantry connects the kitchen to the dining room which is separated from the office/living room by the main hall. I will post the video in the next day or two once I have it pieced together.
